SSC CGL (Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level) is a national level competitive exam whose notification is released on April 1st 2023. This exam is conducted to fill the vacant position of group ‘B’ & ‘C’ post in the central government department which include various positions such as sub-inspector, assistant section officer, assistant audit officer, and others in top multiple government ministries, organizations, and departments.
Along with the arrival of notification, the process of filling up the exam application form will start and SSC CGL 2023 exam (Tier 1) exam will be held between July 14 to 27. The registration for Tier 1 SSC CGL exam will be open till May 1, 2023.

SSC CGL Apply Online 2023
As many aspirants are eagerly waiting to fill out the application form so the application form link is available from April 1 and the application process will be closed on May 1 2023. Candidate just need to visit the website and click on the mentioned link to move further with the application process which take them one step closer to their dream job. But before that candidate have to register themselves on the SSC website.

Step-by-step Process to Apply Online for SSC CGL 2023 Exam
The candidate has to follow all the below given steps to apply online for SSC CGL 2023 exam.
- To fill out the form they have to visit the official website – ssc.nic.in
- Then they have to register on the website through their valid email id and other details such as candidate’s name, father’s name, mother’s name, mobile no, and so on.
- After that they have to login with the same registration email, and password they received on their mobile number or mail id.
- Then comes uploading scanned images of your passport size photo and signature as per the prescribed dimensions. Plus candidate’s images should not be blurred and signature must be authentic.
- Next is filling up the personal details like name, educational details, category, gender, nationality, roll no., university, passing year, and other such information. Review all the details you stated and then click on the submit button
- Now, comes proceeding to make the payment which is the last step. The application fees can be paid both online & offline mode. For online you can choose among various options like Net banking or Debit card or Credit Card, BHIM UPI or pay via other available payment gateways. For offline, you can generate offline challan from the website and pay in cash at any SBI Bank branch together with challan.
- In case, if the application fee is not successfully deposited, the status of application form will be displayed as incomplete. To ensure the status of payment they can check it by clicking on the link of ‘payment status’ on the login page.
- Once the application fee is paid it won’t be refunded.

SSC CGL 2023 Eligibility Criteria
SSC CGL eligibility criteria depends upon various factors which the candidate need to satisfy in order to be part of the final process of SSC CGL exam, this inclues nationality, age, education/academic qualifications, physical standard, etc. Check all the parameters given below.
Nationality
An aspirant need to be a resident of the prescribed countries only, and must fulfill any of the following criteria and muist have their valid id proofs:
- He/she must be an Indian citizen.
- The application form candidate must be a subject of Nepal/Bhutan.
- The applicant must be of Indian Origin who have moved to India from Burma, Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Pakistan, Zaire, Kenya, Sri Lanka, Malawi, Zambia, and Vietnam with the intention of settling down permanently in India.
- He/she can also be Tibetan refugees who journey to India, before 1962, with the intention of settling down permanently in India.
SSC CGL Age Limit
The age varies from post to post, however SSC increased the age limit to apply for the exam. The minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years, and maximum is 32 years. SSC CGL Tier 2 Syllabus
SSC CGL Tier 2 includes 3 phrases, Paper 1, Paper 2, and Paper 3. Paper divided into three sections, having 5 subjects (Mathematical Abilities, Reasoning and General Intelligence, English Language and Comprehension, General awareness, & computer knowledge test), and data entry test is also conducted. The syllabus for all the 4 subjects will be same as of Tier 1.
Paper 2 & 3 for Tier 2 have two sections Statistics, and General Studies (Finance and Economics).
