The UP scholarships are for students who fall under the economically weaker section of society, like students from backward areas, EWS category, & minority category. The UP scholarship 2023 is released by the Uttar Pradesh Social Welfare Department (UPSWD), for which all the eligible candidates need to fill out the application form in order to get a scholarship. All the eligible candidates do not need to pay the application form fees for the UP Scholarship 2023 program for Pre Matric & Post Matric (Dashmottar).

UP Scholarship 2022-2023 Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must satisfy all the below-given points to be eligible for the UP scholarship program 2023.

Nationality 

• The candidate must be an Indian. 
• He/she must live in a domicile of the UP region.

Educational Qualification

• The candidates who have qualified for class 10th are eligible to apply for the UP Post Matric Scholarship.
• The applicant should be a student of 9th and 10th from the recognized schools of Uttar Pradesh.
• The applicants needed to pass the previous year’s examination with at least a 60% score.

Additional Eligibility Criteria 

• The aspirants who belong to a financially weaker background and are not capable of completing their education are eligible to apply for the UP scholarship program.
• The annual family income of the student must be below ₹2 Lakhs in case of applying for the UP Post Matric Fellowship Program.
• To be part of the UP Pre Matric Fellowship Program, the annual family income of the candidates of the general category students must be ₹ 25,546, which belongs to the urban area, and I₹NR 19 884, which belongs to the rural area. For minority category students, it must be ₹ 1,00,00; for ST/SC category students, it should be ₹ 30,000; and for OBC category students, it will be ₹ 30,000.

How to Check UP Scholarship 2022-2023 Status

UP scholarship portal allows the candidates to check the status of their application form. To track status, candidates should have their registration details, and then they just need to follow the steps below.

• Go to the official website and then click on the status tab on the menu bar.
• Next, the aspirants need to enter their login credentials, like registration number and date of birth. 
• After submitting all the details, the candidate just has to click on the search button to check his/her status. 
• Afterward, within a few seconds, the status will appear on the candidate’s screen.

How to check UPI, NCPAT Bank Status Check

• Link below is UID Aadhar Bank link and click in front of that link.
• A new page will appear in front of you, fill your Aadhaar number and captcha and click on Get OTP.
• Now OTP will come on your Aadhaar card mobile number, you have to fill it and submit it.
• As soon as you submit, you will get Bank Name and Account Number which is your bank link.
• Your Scholarship will come in this same Bank Account, if you have given another Bank Account Number in the form, still Aadhar link will come in Bank Account only.
• Whose UID status is not showing any bank, then UID problem will be seen in your scholarship also.

Steps To Apply For the UP Scholarship 2022-2023

The needed or interested candidates can directly visit the official website scholarship.up.gov.in., and then follow the below-mentioned process to apply properly with all the necessary documents. 

• After landing on the main website page, students have to click on the “student” in the menu bar.
• Then a new page will open where you have to register yourself with a particular scheme name and all the details asked; then, you have to create a user id & password.
• After this have to log in with the same user id & password to proceed with the application form, candidate must have all his/her documents before filling up the form. 
• The candidate needs to enter all the stated details once their login is successful; this includes educational details, personal details, income & caste details, current college, school fees, and educational details of last year. 
• Then-candidate has to click on the update button and save the details.
• After this, they have to upload their passport-size photo, which shouldn’t be more than 20 kb and in JPG/JPEG format. 
• Now candidates need to take out a print of the UP scholarship application form for future reference. 

Apply for UP Scholarship 2022-2023 Renewal

The candidates can also go for UP scholarship renewal who applied in the previous year; they just need to follow the below-given steps. 

• Go to the official website and click on the registration link given below. 
• Then click on the relevant link for renewal and fill in all the details as asked. 
• Visit the renewal Login page and then log in.
• Then comes filling up all the last year’s details with educational qualifications and in order to move for the UP scholarship application form. 
• Now applicants have to give their passport-size photo and then take a printout of the application form.
