Academic Qualification for Classes 1-5 Teachers (Paper 1)
- Senior Secondary or its corresponding exam passed out with minimum 50 % marks and qualified or appeared in the final year of Diploma in Elementary Education (2 years duration). OR
- Senior Secondary or its equally valued exam with a minimum of 50 % marks and passed or appeared in the final year exam of Bachelor of Elementary Education (4 years duration). OR
- Qualified Senior Secondary or its equivalent exam by securing a minimum of 45 % marks and cleared or appearing in the final year exam of Diploma in Elementary Education (2 years duration). OR
- Senior Secondary or its corresponding exam passed out with a minimum of 50 % marks and cleared or appeared in the final year exam of Diploma in Education (2 years duration). OR
- Bachelor’s degree with a BEd degree.
Academic Qualification for Classes 6-8 Teachers (Paper 2)
- Has a graduation degree and cleared or is appearing in the final year examination of Diploma in Elementary Education (2 years duration). OR
- Should has a graduation degree with 40 % marks and passed or is appearing in the final year exam of BEd, according to NCTE regulations. OR
- Should has a graduation degree with 50 % marks and has cleared or going to sit in the final year exam of BEd. OR
- Qualified Senior Secondary or its corresponding test with a minimum of 50 % marks and has cleared or appearing in the final year exam of 4 years duration Bachelor of Elementary Education. OR
- Qualified Senior Secondary or its equivalent exam with 50 % marks and passed or appearing in the final year exam of B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. OR
- Candidates should have a graduation degree with 50 % marks and have passed or are appearing in the BEd program of 1-year duration.
